Growing is a pain
Been shooting up over the winter and along with that boards have had to change. So grabbed a 5'11 outta Jp's to give a go to get on a bigger board to see what suits me, this is the result.
So upping in size is for sure an option!

Back from the island
Well I've been unusually slack on the blog recently, so here's an update on how things are going;
Barbados
My trip to barbados went really good, scored real good waves and had amazing weather. First time surfing in boardies all day. Think it's fair to say it was a lot nicer than pulling on a 5/4 boots and hood like back home. Trip was awesome and felt I improved loads.
The trip is featured in CARVE Mag in an article that Roger Sharp who came on the trip put together. Here's the shots from the mag
Since being back home, I've been surfing loads and training in advance for the comp season starting, now this week I'm heading down to Cornwall as it's looking pretty crap for back home.
So yeah, all is going good and surfing lots!! Great stuff

Not long now....
As you guys know I'm off to Barbados end of this month, only 16 days left can't wait gonna be an awesome trip!!
Starting to think of what I need to take and get my quiver together. Really looking forward to it.
Surf was pumping on the weekend, surfed plenty and managed to surf some of the best right handers on gower; friday night Crab, Saturday morning perfect Peaks, and then in the evening a personal favourite Gower reef. STOKED
Cold weather coming in now this week, been hitting sub zero regularly so only the super keen will be in this weekend with a tidy swell coming in for Sunday. Keep you updated.
Cheers,
Nath

Been a while
Haven't updated this since before christmas, so think its about time
Christmas was really good and may have eaten a bit to much but its that time of year, surf was good all the way from christmas to new years day and then died off. Surfed loads and had a great time!!
A new year new habits
This year I am setting my mind on contest, two main goals is to win the Welsh Nationals in the u16's which I believe if I continue and work hard I can achieve. "you can do anything if you put your mind to it" the other is to be given for the honour of representing Wales again in the European Surf Championships which in which I think is about time Wales showed how it's juniors are easily on par with the rest of the UK and others parts Europe. Other goals also are; improve on my UKPST ranking and get in the top 10 in Pro Junior and top 5 in U16 as this year is my last in the U16, I want to push my self in more challenging waves around the UK and lastly enjoy my surfing as much as possible with still keeping a focus on my schoolwork.
I am off to Barbados on the 18th of February for coaching with Russell Winter along with Roger Sharp from Carve Surf Magazine for a coaching week, which will feature in an article in Carve. Looking forward to the trip should be a real boost in my surfing!
So that's about it for now I'll keep you all updated with news, video and photos as it comes in.
Happy new year hope its a good one for everyone
